    Day 1

    (Sun) Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to hotel.


    Day 2

    Boat to Guangzhou, overnight train to Guilin.

     

    Days 3-4

    Transfer to Yangshuo. Half-day cycle tour and village lunch.

     

    Days 5-6

    Fly to Chengdu. Visit giant panda breeding centre. Day trip to Giant Buddha at Leshan.

    Days 7-8

    Drive to Dazu and visit Baoding Shan (Buddhist caves). Continue to Chongqing and board boat.

    Days 9-10

    Yangtze River Cruise past Three Gorges.

     

    Day 11

    Drive to Yichang, overnight train to Xian.

    Days 12-13

    Visit Terracotta Warriors. Walking tour of Xian (Muslim Quarter/South Gate).


    Days 14-16

    Fly to Shanghai. Walk along the Bund. Optional acrobat performance. Overnight train to Beijing.

     

    Days 17-18

    Tour of Beijing – Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.

    Day 19

    Visit the Great Wall at Simatai. Optional Peking Opera.

     

    Day 20

    Trip ends in Beijing this morning (Fri).
