Yangtze And Beyond
Day 1 (Fri) Arrive in Beijing and transfer to hotel. Day 2 Tour of Beijing, visiting Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square. Day 3 Visit a remote section of the Great Wall. Optional Peking Opera. Day 4 Visit Summer Palace. Overnight train to Xian. Day 5 Visit the Terracotta Warriors. Days 6-7 Walking tour of Xian (Muslim Quarter/South Gate). Fly to Chengdu. Day 8 Visit the giant panda breeding centre. Bus to Chongqing. Board boat in the evening. Days 9-10 Yangtze River Cruise, sailing through the spectacular Three Gorges. Day 11 Cruise ends in Yichang. Bus to Wuhan, fly to Shanghai. Day 12 Walk along the Bund. Optional Shanghai Acrobat performance. Day 13 Trip ends in Shanghai this morning (Wed).
