Day 1
Arriving
We suggest a 2 hours walk through the historical part of
Day 2
Dijon to Beaune H-B 48 km
You ride south through the famous vineyards of the Côte-d’Or. All villages here produce
Pinot noir grapes and their names are know from New-York to Japan, Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romané, Aloxe-Corton…This ride takes us to the central part of the county in the town of Beaune.
Day 3
Beaune to Beaune B&B 24 or 52 km
Today is flexible. The visit of Beaune can take half a day by itself and we highly recommend the Hospices. A small loop through vineyards and tasting are suggested. The Cistercien Abbey of Citeaux is the object of a visit on the long option.
Day 4
Beaune to Nolay H-B 30 or 42 km
Go south of Beaune and cycle through the

Nolay to Chateauneuf-en-Auxois H-B 36 or 45 km
You ride north through a really rural part of
Day 6
Chateauneuf to Chateauneuf B&B 20 or 40 km
You can really take it easy today and explore the village with the 5 to 6 hundred years old buildings. We suggest a couple of rides to the

Chateauneuf to Dijon B&B 42 km
For most of the day you follow the Ouche valley down stream. You pass the villages of Gissey and Fleurey. You get back to
