Day 1

Arrival at Cavaillon H-B
Our hotel is right in the centre of Cavaillon. It is a comfortable 19th century building from which you can easily explore the historical town on foot.

 

Day 2

Cavaillon to Cadenet H-B 40 km
You’ll follow the DuranceRiver along the south slopes of the LuberonMountain. It is a good introduction to the climate without the hills. You’ll go through the villages of Mérindol and Lauris before arriving at Cadenet.

 

Day 3

Cadenet to Gargas H-B 30 or 45 km
You’ll cycle up the Luberon itself through the villages of Cucuron and Lourmarin. Once you get to the other side, you’ll ride down to Bonnieux and Lacoste before arriving at your typical farm house between Apt and Roussillon.

 

Day 4

Gargas to Gargas H-B 22 or 38 km 
We suggest a small tour around the market town of Apt, the village of Saint Saturnin and the quarry of Ochre stone.

 

Day 5

Gargas to Cavaillon B&B 34 km
Today, on the way back to Cavaillon, you’ll visit Roussillon and Gordes; 2 of the most remarkable villages in Provence.

 

Day 6

Trip finishes in Cavaillon after breakfast.
