Himalayan Kingdoms
Day 1 (Sun) Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing – Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhnath Stupa. Day 3 Fly to Bhadrapur, drive to Darjeeling. Day 4 Sightseeing including botanical gardens, handicraft centres, Tibetan monasteries and Mountaineering Institute. Day 5 Early excursion to Tiger Hill. Drive to Gangtok, capital of Sikkim. Day 6 Explore Gangtok including Rumtek Monastery. Day 7 Scenic drive to Kalimpong, with its beautiful flower gardens. Day 8 Visit Zangdopheir Monastery, then descend to Bhutan border at Phuntsholing. Day 9 Drive to Thimphu and visit local markets. Day 10 Explore Thimphu including fortresses, the Painting School and handicraft centres. Days 11-12 Tiger's Nest Monastery. Drive to Paro and explore beautiful Paro Valley. Day 13 Trip ends in Paro this morning (Fri).
