The spectacular Iguazu Falls are situated on the border of Argentina and Brazil and are a real highlight of any visit to this area of South America. The waterfalls consist of 275 separate falls and are surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation and national parks. The falls are the largest in the world by volume, and are higher than Niagara Falls. On our trip to Iguazu you will witness this awesome sight from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the falls and it will be up to you to decide which view is the more spectacular. It is a comparison between superlatives.

Iguazu Falls Extension
On arrival at Puerto Iguazu Airport you will be met by a representative of our transportation company and transferred to your hotel, located just a few kilometres away in the small border town of Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. Please look for your transfer guide at the airport. They will be holding a sign who with your name on it. Once you have checked into your hotel the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
After breakfast you will join a guided excursion with others to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls located about 35 minutes’ drive from the township. The excursion will last until lunch-time at which time you will be free to return to town on the tour bus or you can choose to spend some time on your own at the falls. There are regular buses returning from the falls to Puerto Iguazu and many people enjoy the time at the falls just wandering around soaking up the awesome views and strolling along the many jungle pathways.
After breakfast you need to check out from your hotel room. You can leave your luggage at the hotel, while you join a guided excursion to the Brazilian side of the falls. The border is a short drive from the town of Puerto Iguazu and, after clearing Brazilian Immigration, you pass through the small city of Foz do Iguacu on your way out to the falls. Our half-day excursion includes a guided tour around the falls and some free time to wander around and enjoy some sightseeing, before returning to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu. Later in the afternoon you are collected from the St George Hotel and transferred to Puerto Iguazu Airport for your onward flight. Your trip finishes on arrival at this airport. Please make ensure that you are booked to depart Puerto Iguazu on a late afternoon flight - no earlier than 4pm (16:00 hrs).
